from their website:
The rumors are all true...
...The Hi-Fi is on its way to West End. Who you say? Well we have been running Melbourne’s iconic live music venue, The Hi-Fi, for over 10 years and like all Mexicans we’re looking for any excuse to get well up north of the border. Our pledge is great live music and an insane amount of rhythmical largesse.

re EBAY.....and new arrivals.
howdy,
the box has been a little busy of late...and the lovely sarah has been overseas.
so our listings on ebay have been zero....sorry.
we have been purchasing heaps of goodies - hundreds in fact, and i am about to head to overseas to scout for some more.
on my return expect to see ebay up and running with heaps of vintage gold.
we have already started to prepare for next season, and trans season and winter stock is slowly filtering into the store.
our racks are full
so come visit
first in best dressed

HOW INDIE ARE YOU?
how indie are you?
this is how it all begins......
we stop buying our music from corporate owned stores, our food from supermarkets (particularly fruit and vege) and our clothing from westfields malls. we open our eyes to the pseudo indie hip chain stores ( 50 stores is not independent, it is corporate capitalism).
in the purchases we make, we search for the wisest, most enlightened deals and when we find them, we share that knowledge with our friends. we punish the big, the super and the mega. we support and reward the small, the slow, the local and the personal.
drink indie coffee instead of starbucks
choose local and indie labels of clothing and shoes
buy secondhand
IN THIS WAY WE BECOME TRUE CULTURAL CREATIVES.
WE BECOME DISPENSERS OF BOTTOM UP COOL.
WE MOVE TOWARDS A SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY OF ORIGINALITY AND CREATIVITY.
